Jimmy Fahey

Jimmy Fahey is currently a Procurement Manager overseeing all truckload transportation at Navistar, a leading manufacturer of commercial trucks, buses, and engines throughout North America. With Volkswagen’s recent acquisition of Navistar, Jimmy is at the forefront of the company’s sustainable transportation & logistics efforts and charting a pathway towards the carbon-neutral vision set by their European counterparts for 2035. This mission sees him collaborating closely with strategic transportation partners, constantly seeking ways to diminish transportation emissions across the supply chain.

Jimmy began his professional career after graduating from the University of Dayton, finding his niche at Echo Logistics, where he honed his skills for multi-modal and cross-border operations. He expanded his expertise with over a decade of experience at other logistics providers such as Champion Logistics, XPO Logistics, and digital logistics innovator Loadsmart.

Currently, Jimmy is enrolled in a dual master’s program, working towards his Master of Science Supply Chain Management with a focus on Data Analytics and Master of Business Administration as a Baumhart Scholar with a focus on sustainable supply chains practices. Jimmy is also a member of APICS – Chicago chapter with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Certificate of Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. As a Baumhart scholar, he is hoping to redefine sustainable and efficient practices within the ever-evolving transportation sector.
