Quinton Arthur

A self-described creative spirit at heart, Quinton R. Arthur is the senior external affairs manager at The Chicago Urban League.Quinton plays a significant role in leading the digital marketing strategy for the organization, including photography, videography, graphic design, newsletter campaigns, and website management. 

Through his commitment to this role, he has helped the Chicago Urban League raise over $2 million annually through the Golden Fellowship Dinner and SUMMIT fundraisers. He regularly supports each department and reaches more than 400,000 individuals in Chicago yearly through combined marketing efforts.

Before joining the Chicago Urban League, Quinton spent a few years as a paraprofessional educator at high and middle school levels. Influenced by creating equity for all, he aspires to lead significant marketing efforts for nonprofits and government organizations in the next stage of his career.

In addition to his career, Quinton owns QRamone Media, a small business focused on helping individuals and organizations get quality content. He also has written articles for the Homewood-Flossmoor (Ill.) Chronicle, The Lansing Journal, and Southland Journal newspapers.

In 2021, the National Urban League cited him as an emerging leader. In 2022, he became part of the inaugural cohort for 100 Black Men of America, Inc.’s Leadership Institute and a Maynard 200 Institute for Journalism Education graduate in the Media Entrepreneur track.

Quinton has a master’s in journalism from Roosevelt University and a bachelor’s in English from Northern Illinois University.

He can be found mentoring, reading, or enjoying the latest superhero movie or anime show in his spare time.
