Transformative Education Scholars Program

At Loyola's School of Education, we are called to transform lives through our teaching, learning, and research. Now more than ever, we must deepen our commitment to supporting schools and communities to ensure all students receive an exceptional PK-22 education. Through the School of Education Transformative Education Scholars Program (TESP), we endeavor to not only grow the number of educational professionals across PK-22, but also deepen and expand professional competencies to ensure all students receive the high-quality supports that are essential to academic success and well-being in this everchanging educational landscape.

If you are interested in joining the Loyola School of Education Transformative Education Scholars Program

We aim to partner with schools, districts, colleges, universities, as well as local, state and regional educational agencies to create cohorts of working professionals who will complete one of the participating academic programs.

Description of the Scholar Program: 

As a member of the Transformative Education Scholars Program (TESP), professionals currently employed by or a member of a partner entity are eligible to apply for one of the participating academic degree programs with the benefit of a 30% tuition discount. TESP cohorts require 12-15 members. Your partner entity can have more than one cohort of professionals completing more than one academic program.

  • Scholars will receive a 30% tuition discount each semester of their academic degree program
  • Discount applies to required courses within the degree program only and does not cover fees or other expenses

Eligibility for Transformative Education Scholars Program:

  • Must apply and be accepted to one of the participating academic programs
  • Must be admitted as part of a cohort of at least 12-15 individuals from Transformative Education Scholars Program partner entities.

*Note: TESP-eligible applicants will be notified once confirmed and again when the cohort enrollment minimum has been met
