Loyola Program Incubator
Purpose of Incubator
Loyola’s Program Incubator supports faculty in identifying and rapidly creating new graduate and professional programs that are market informed, mission-consistent and have strong potential for high enrollments. The program incubator also supports the revitalization of existing programs in ways that would lead to large enrollment growth through incorporating new delivery methods, new structural components, and/or additional resources.
Benefits of the Program Incubator
Proposal development support– Incubator programs receive support to identify new and emerging markets for graduate programming, engage in innovative program design, develop proposal components, coordinate between internal and external offices and stakeholders, and administrative assistance.
Financial support – Programs selected for the incubator have access to a strategic investment fund. Acting as a loan from the Office of the Provost, this investment fund will cover initial program costs until the program is capable of funding itself through the tuition it generates.
Incentive to Innovate– Incubator programs meeting financial parameters can receive a portion of the program’s operating surplus for their Department/School/College, following the repayment of the loan.
