Financial Literacy Day (FinLit Day) on November 1, 2024, hosted by the Risk Management and Insurance Center, brought together professionals and academics for a full day of insightful discussions. Attendees explored the impact of global macroeconomic trends, examined the technological and ethical implications of AI in finance, and learned about Loyola’s latest initiative to enhance financial literacy education for all undergraduate students at the Quinlan School of Business.

The event featured keynote speeches from Christopher Vincent, CEO of the CFA Chapter Chicago, and Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs, along with expert-led panels that highlighted various perspectives on financial literacy and career pathways in finance. It was an exceptional opportunity to connect with leaders dedicated to advancing financial literacy and shaping the future of finance.
