Buntinas, Martin

Dr. Buntinas received his A.B. degree from the University of Chicago and his Ph.D. degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He taught at the Illinois Institute of Technology before coming to Loyola University in 1970. He was a Senior Fulbright Scholar and an Alexander von Humboldt Scholar. His research interests include functional analysis, topological sequence spaces, Fourier series, and approximation theory. He served as the chair of the Department of Mathematical & Computer Sciences from 1992 to 1998.
