ORIENTATION LEADER ROLE (Orientation@luc.edu)
Orientation Leaders (OLs) serve as student ambassadors for Loyola University Chicago Orientation (LUCO). OLs are instrumental in assisting first-year and transfer students and their families during this important time of transition to academic and student life at Loyola. The OL position is a paid position that provides free on-campus housing in a Loyola residence hall, and ongoing leadership development. The position is most active between mid-May through end of August.
The OL Application is currently open and can be found on Handshake (Job code #9464572). Applications are due on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 at 12:00pm (noon).
Applications include a resume and a written response to 3 essay questions in the job description. Applicants who fail to submit both documents will not be considered.

PEER NAVIGATOR ROLE
Peer Navigators are undergraduate student leaders who mentor, and guide first-year students enrolled in UNIV 101 and 201, helping them transition to university life and align with Loyola’s Jesuit mission. Peer Navigators play a critical role in fostering a sense of belonging, connecting students to essential resources, and supporting academic and personal growth. By creating opportunities for meaningful reflection and engagement, Peer Navigators empower first-year students to develop a personal vision and narrative for success at Loyola University Chicago.
