Matt Anderson, PhD, inducted as ASAHP Fellow
Matthew Anderson, PhD, chair of the Department of Healthcare Administration (HCA) and associate professor in the Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health, was inducted as a Fellow of the Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions (ASAHP). Anderson was one of four Fellows formally inducted at the ASAHP Annual Conference earlier this month in Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida.
The ASAHP Fellow awards were designed to provide meaningful recognition to those members who have contributed significantly to allied health as administrators, educators, clinicians, or researchers. This program seeks to stimulate the striving for excellence within allied health.
Anderson, who previously held leadership positions at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and Rush University’s College of Health Sciences, joined Parkinson in December 2022.
