While overseeing the many great CSA programs, Megan particularly facilitates Loyola's delegation to the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice and other justice education programs. Megan received an M.A. and an M.S.W. from Boston College, with a focus on social justice, community organizing and policy. She holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Her own career path involved 3 terms as an AmeriCorps volunteer, where she came to appreciate the power of campuses and local communities uniting to make change. She was born and raised in South Carolina and wishes that her 8 nieces and nephews lived a little closer to Chicago.

Bizzy Stephenson is the Community Outreach Coordinator with Loyola’s office of Community Service and Action, where she works closely with both the Loyola4Chicago volunteer program and the St. Thomas of Canterbury Soup Kitchen Outreach. She received her B. A. in English and Justice & Peace Studies from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota in 2020 and her M.Ed. from Seattle University in Student Development Administration in 2022, focusing on supporting college students through their academic and personal journeys with a focus on student identity development, community engagement, and social justice. She moved to the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago in 2022 when she started her role with CSA and has thrived in the rich urban landscape and loves taking the CTA every day. Here in the city she is working on growing her thrifted plaid pants collection and ranking all the ramen restaurants in Chicago. Bizzy is passionate about supporting Loyola students in their journeys of becoming people for and with others and is inspired by Ramblers’ commitment to community every day.

Lilly Sabolay

Student Worker

Lilly is a third-year undergraduate student studying both Neuroscience and Psychology. She is from Southern Illinois, near St. Louis, MO, and she took part in volunteering frequently in her hometown. So, when she heard about Saturday of Service, she decided it would be the perfect opportunity to enter the volunteering community at Loyola. Thus began her involvement in CSA her freshman year, as a member of Loyola4Chicago. Having gained so much fulfillment volunteering, she decided to apply for leadership in Loyola4Chicago her sophomore year to become a bigger part of the club and volunteering that she loves. The summer before her junior year, she was presented with the honor to travel to the annual National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference (NJSLC) in Cleveland, Ohio, where she gave a workshop to other student leaders about best practices in service communities. The CSA student worker position opened yet another opportunity for Lilly to support the organization, learn the ins and outs of CSA, and gain a new level of appreciation for the behind-the-scenes work that allows volunteers to go and make a difference within the community.
