What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
Certainly, the people I’ve had the opportunity to work with. They’ve always made it a pretty great work environment.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Most of what I do involves tasks that recur with some frequency (monthly, quarterly, annually), so it’s rare that anything feels “done.” Rather, there are opportunities each cycle to make some improvement upon the ones just past. Hopefully I have done some of that.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
It’s an aspiration that guides us in our work, helping us to keep focused on delivering a solid education both inside and out of the classroom or lab.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
I know that, however indirectly, there are many different University constituents who depend on some aspect of what I do to do their own work (whether that’s teaching, learning, or administration).
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
When I started here, I was given a Loyola coffee mug at a Mission & Identity event, and it remains my favorite to this day.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I am rather popular among the folks in the purchasing department for my office décor sensibilities and flair for ventilation.
