What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
The people who work at Loyola are what makes it so great. Everyone is welcoming, supportive, and always willing to help where needed.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
I don’t think I’ve achieved it yet, so I’ll say, the best is yet to come.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
It means going the extra mile to help someone in need. Whether it’s holding later office hours for students, lending an ear to a concerned parent, or teaching colleagues a new skill, our mission reminds us that we all have a contribution to make.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
Knowing that I was entrusted with the responsibilities of my job is not something I take lightly. I recognize that I’m one passenger on the ship that keeps us afloat, and I want to support my colleagues and our students to the best of my abilities.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
Anytime I’m traveling, be it for work or pleasure, I’m always ready to have a conversation that in some way relates to Loyola and the wonderful experience I’ve had over the past several years.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I’m an 80s cover band groupie. Sixteen Candles is one of my favorite things about summer in Chicago, and you can usually find me at any street festival if they’re playing.
