What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
The people! Both colleagues and students really make Loyola the special place that it is.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
The achievement I’m most proud of while I’ve been a Loyola employee was earning a degree in Spanish. Since I was a kid I dreamed of being bilingual, and with four years of hard work (and the staff tuition benefit) I was able to accomplish it!
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
I’ve always liked the line “seeking God in all things” from the mission because I find this to be true at Loyola; that God is all around, even in small daily interactions.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
Knowing that I am a part of an institution that makes a difference. I am motivated to work within a group that’s committed and supportive of the overall mission of the university.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride?
My Loyola backpack goes with me everywhere – planes, trains, and automobiles. After the Final Four I got tons of high-fives for it!
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
My second greatest life ambition is to hold an octopus in my hand.
