Curriculum
Program Structure
Students can begin their MBA before the first year of medical school (M0) or take a one-year leave following their second (M2) or third (M3) year. The MBA program is one year of study during which students take four classes per week.
About the MBA Curriculum
Nearly half of the MBA curriculum will be specific to healthcare management, covering finance, economics, ethics, operations/supply chain management, and risk management. You will take healthcare management courses with other students (including physicians) who work in the industry, allowing you to delve into topics with professionals who share your interests and manage issues in "real time."

We accept applications for the dual-degree MD/MBA on a rolling basis. Applicants are encouraged to apply by the deadlines outlined below. Admission to the MD/MBA dual-degree program is competitive and limited to 10 students per academic year.

Application Process
1. ADMISSION TO STRITCH
- Applicants must be admitted to the Stritch School of Medicine before applying to the dual-degree program.
3. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
- Applicants must submit a statement of purpose to the Quinlan School of Business.
4. LETTER OF SUPPORT
- Letter must come from the Office of the Dean at Stritch.

Tuition and Financial Aid
The Stritch School of Medicine, Quinlan School of Business, and Loyola's Financial Aid Office are committed to helping students secure the financial resources to make their education at Loyola affordable. Tuition assistance is available and is separate from your medical school award. Begin the financial aid process by completing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Quinlan offers a 35% tuition discount to applicants who meet selection criteria.
