Congratulations Dr. Lievano! Fabio Lievano, MD, is a candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, Honoris Causa from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Lievano  serves as the Vice President of Patient Safety, Scientific Collaborations, and New Business Advancements of AbbVie Pharmaceuticals. He is an Affiliate Professor in the department of Molecular Pharmacology and Neuroscience at Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Northwestern University. Dr. Lievano will receive this honorary degree at the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

W. Keith Jones, PhD

Congratulations to Dr. Jones who received a $15,000 grant from the C.H.A.R.M. Institute to study inter-organ protection by neural stimulation in aged mouse models.  This is a continuation of his research on “Protection enter Oregon protection by neural stimulation."

Rocco Gogliotti, PhD

Congratulations to Rocco Gogliotti, PhD for receiving a grant entitled "The interplay of the heat shock cascade and Rett Syndrome" from the International Rett Syndrome Foundation in October 2021.   And congratulations to Dr. Gogliotti for receiving the 2021 Junior Scientist of the Year award.  He talked about his career path, research, and philosophy at the annual St. Albert's Day at the Health Sciences Campus.
