Stephen Watson
Director of Athletics
Steve Watson was appointed as the Loyola University Chicago Director of Athletics in 2014. Prior to his arrival at Loyola, Watson served as the Director of Athletics at St. Bonaventure University for seven-plus years. Watson previously held athletic department roles at Eastern Michigan University (2001-07), University of Dayton (1999-01) and the University of Georgia (1998-99).
Watson played basketball collegiately, starting at Rutgers before transferring and finishing his eligibility at Bowling Green. Following graduation, Watson would go on to play professionally in Europe and Asia for six years.
Watson graduated from Bowling Green in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal and Public Communications and went on to earn a Master of Sport Administration degree from Ohio University in 1998.
