Loyola's new Institute of Environmental Sustainability is Gold LEED-certified and one of the most innovative buildings on the Lake Shore Campus. The facility was completed in Fall 2013 and includes many classrooms, research and teaching labs, a clean energy lab, an urban agricultural greenhouse, and a green café. It shares common spaces with San Francisco Hall, Loyola's only green residence hall.
