Introducing the Family Business Center director
Jill McCall was named the new director of the Family Business Center, effective November 21, 2022. She is a community builder and innovator who brings to the center and its members extensive experience in association leadership and consulting.
“Jill’s breadth of interdisciplinary skills and her experience supporting family businesses make her a strong fit for our Family Business Center,” says Michael Behnam, dean of the Quinlan School of Business. “Her commitment to serving members collectively and individually will also strengthen how the center serves the family business community.”
Kristen Napleton, chair of the Family Business Center’s board of advisors, shared her excitement about the new director.
“Jill inherits a strong and committed family business community – one that is grounded in shared values, confidentiality, participation, non-solicitation, research, and learning,” said Napleton. “I am confident in her commitment to leading our community to a bright future, while continuing to offer the exceptional services and support that makes our Family Business Center so special.”
Abol Jalilvand, executive director of the Buiness Leadership Hub, also expressed his enthusasim.
“Jill is an energetic and forward-looking professional who brings synergistic academic and professional experiences in addressing the evolving needs of our growing family business membership. I am confident that her previous work in managing the diverse needs of various professional associations (including the American Bar Association), her entrepreneurial drive, and cross-disciplinary inclusive approach will move the center forward in the years ahead.”
