Job and Salary Offer
The actual job and salary offer is the responsibility of the Human Resources Office, in accordance with current Loyola practice. The Human Resources Office will ensure that the following steps are completed:
- Confirm that the job offer is within the budgeted dollars for the position.
- If a job offer exceeds the budget for the position, the HR representative will consult with the compensation department and the hiring department budget manager to verify that sufficient funding is moved from other sources to cover the new salary.
- Verify an employment application, and background check release form have been completed prior to extending a job offer.
- Coordinate pre-employment drug screening for new hires as deemed appropriate by the position which is being filled by new employee.
