Peter L. Apostol
About
Peter L. Apostol is employed as Conflicts Counsel at Winston & Strawn LLP, where he advises Firm lawyers on conflicts of interest, outside counsel guidelines, and other professional responsibility issues. Previously, Peter served as Professional Responsibility Counsel at Schiff Hardin LLP and Senior Litigation Counsel at the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois, where he conducted attorney disciplinary investigations and prosecuted cases before the ARDC Hearing Board, including matters involving conflicts of interest, criminal conduct, and misappropriation of client funds. Peter graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BA in Political Science in 2003, and received his JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2006. While attending law school, he worked as a law clerk at the ARDC and as a judicial extern for Judge Charles P. Kocoras. Peter is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and Hellenic Bar Association of Illinois. He has served as an adjunct professor in the Experiential Learning program at Loyola University Chicago School of Law since 2018.
