About
Matthew V. Chimienti is an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General’s Special Litigation Bureau. His practice focuses on civil litigation and public interest investigations, with an emphasis on complex fraud, civil rights, and other Constitutional issues.
Prior to joining the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, Matthew was a litigation associate with Riley Safer Holmes and Cancila LLP and Schiff Hardin LLP, where his practice focused on mass tort litigation.
At Loyola, Matthew serves as a coach of the Civil Law Mock Trial Team. Outside of Loyola, he also serves on the Illinois State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Council.
