David Navarro
About
David Navarro is a circuit court judge for Cook County. He presides in the Pretrial Justice Division at the Criminal Courthouse. Prior to taking the bench, he was Chief of the Public Integrity Bureau at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and was a supervisor at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
He is currently serving on the board of directors of Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois and the Illinois Latino Judges Association. He is a past president of the National Hispanic Prosecutors Association. He has traveled to Mexico to train Mexican attorneys in trial advocacy as part of that country’s Constitutional justice reforms.
