About
James F. Tozzi earned his law degree from DePaul College of Law in 2000. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history with a minor in Italian from DePaul University and a Masters of Library and Information Science with a concentration in law libraries and legal research from Dominican University. While in law school, he completed externships with the Honorable William J. Bauer of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and with the Honorable Wayne R. Andersen of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He also served on the board of the DePaul Law Review as Articles and Notes Editor. After law school, he completed a two year clerkship with Justice Peg M. Breslin of the Illinois Appellate Court, Third Judicial District. He recently served as Chair of the Probate Practice Committee of the Chicago Bar Association and has served as a lecturer at CBA seminars on probate law.
