Clery Act Safety Bulletin

Each year, Loyola University Chicago releases the Clery Act Annual Security Report and Fire Safety Report. The report is a highly regulated response to directives from the Department of Education under the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, otherwise known as the Clery Act. The Clery Act requires colleges and universities to report specific campus crime data, support victims of violence, and publicly outline the policies and procedures in place around campus safety.

The 2023 Clery Act Annual Security Report and Fire Safety Report is here. The report contains crime statistics from the previous year, as well as safety information, policies, procedures, and more related to campus crime and crime prevention that are valuable for all Loyolans to know. Various departments across the University collaborate in responding to and providing resources for students, faculty, and staff who experience safety-related concerns or violence, and some of these departments are required to submit information for this report each year.
