Orders of Protection
Orders of protection (commonly referred to as restraining orders) are legal orders, put in place by a judge that restricts or limits the amount of contact a person can have with another person.
Campus Safety takes all existing orders of protection seriously.
If you have an order of protection, protecting you from someone else, we ask that you please inform Campus Safety so that we have it on record. This will help us in case there is an issue with the offender. To do so, please email asksafety@luc.edu or stop into the Campus Safety office.
If you are having an issue with a person, Campus Safety can help explain the legal process for obtaining an order of protection.
