Campus History Photo Book Available

Loyola University Chicago Archives & Special Collections staff completed a campus history photo book, published by Arcadia Press in Auguts 2020. This book highlights the establishment and growth of Loyola University Chicago by looking at its former and current campuses - St. Ignatius College, Lake Shore Campus, Downtown College/Water Tower Campus, Health Sciences, Cuneo Mansion and Gardens, Loyola University Retreat and Ecology Campus, and the John Felice Rome Center. Photographs from the Loyola Archives & Special Collections are the centerpiece of the book, including many not previously published. The book is available at Loyola University Chicago - Campus History Series .

Loyola Awards Grant to Help Commemerate 150th

Loyola University Chicago awarded a grant to the Center for Textual Studies and Digital Humanities, Public History Program, and University Libraries to create digital projects celebrating Loyola's history for its 150th Anniversary in 2020.
